Development Register
Pursuant to regulation 98 of the Development Regulations 2008 Kangaroo Island Council is required to keep a register of development applications available for public inspection.
A real-time Development Register can be accessed via Council’s public computer network located in the Kingscote Library area. You can use the computers free of charge (bookings essential) to view the registry of new and old development applications, their assessment and processing details and decisions issued.

As of 19 March 2021, all applications lodged through the new PlanSA portal can be viewed using the following link:
https://plan.sa.gov.au/development_application_register select Council area then select Kangaroo Island from the drop down menu.
