Bookings
Council does not take bookings for the sites and availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
Fees
Fees apply for each location and are made onsite via a self-registration booth (iron ranger - cash only).
Credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) payments can be made at American River, Brown Beach, Stokes Bay and Vivonne Bay camping ground locations using the PARKEON Pay station. Coin payment is also accepted $2 $1 50c 20c 10c - No change or refunds given.
Instructions on how to pay using the PARKEON Pay Station:
- Select Campsite type press yellow button until the desired product is reached (unpowered site, powered site, additional person or tour bus use of facilities)
- Press green button to confirm your product type
- To pay, use the following options:

Then press green button - Credit Card payment:
- Insert card
Insert card, *do not remove card until instructed,
Press - + ++ button(s) to select number of nights
To confirm amount press green button - PayPass / payWave payment

Hold card against sensor until a beep sounds

Current Camping Fees
- Powered site $28 a night for up to two people
- Unpowered site $17 a night for up to two people
- Additional persons $6 a night
Annual Camping Permit (Residents Only) can be purchased at Council Office or Penneshaw Community Business Centre.
