My Local Services App
Kangaroo Island Council have now implemented the My Local Services App which delivers:
- Spotlights - receive key messages from Council about upcoming events, community consultations and latest news. Spotlights will generally link to the Council's website for more information
- My Council - access contact details for Council and Elected Members as well as pay rates or invoices when you want
- Near me - find nearby Council facilties such as playgrounds, parks and the library. The inbuilt mapping function can then guide you to your chosen location. This function will update depending on which Council area you are in
- Events - find out about upcoming events in the area
- Report it - report issues requiring Council attention, such as trees down or tripping hazards, quickly and easily. Take a photo and send it in along with GPS coordinates to assist with locating the issue
- Waste - check which bin to put out when with the option to turn on waste reminders
The app has now been implemented by 40 South Australian Councils.
Council encourages our residents and visitors to download the app. (Please ensure updates of the App are done to ensure current information is displayed.)
