The role of Council’s Section 101A Committee is to provide advice to Council in relation to strategic planning functions and documents, including review of the Kangaroo Island Development Plan, as part of the Development Plan Amendment (DPA) process and alignment of strategic planning and development plan policy with the Planning Strategy, KI Plan and other strategic documents.
Council’s Section 101A Committee consists of the full Council and is also advised by Council’s Development Assessment Panel (DAP) when relevant matters arise.
The Section 101A Committee meets quarterly and meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend and observe proceedings.
Section 101A Committee agendas are made available five days prior to the meetings electronically and minutes are made available electronically following the meeting.
