American River Campground
The camping ground is located near the American River Boat Ramp. American River is a sheltered small village, popular for aquatic activities including boating, sailing and fishing. Although not located at the camping ground, a BBQ area and a sheltered playground are available nearby. There are a number of dining options, fuel and the American River Post Office stocks basic supplies (open Mon - Fri 9-5 and Saturday 9-1). For substantial groceries head to Kingscote or Penneshaw.
