Discover the magic of bush camping on Kangaroo Island

Experience the heart of nature with seven unique bush campgrounds across Kangaroo Island. Whether you’re waking up to the sound of waves at Vivonne Bay or spotting wildlife at Duck Lagoon, each site offers a peaceful escape into the Island’s stunning natural landscapes.

Our campgrounds are suited to travellers looking for a simple, nature-based experience. Facilities vary between locations and may include toilets, showers, barbecues and picnic areas. These are not caravan parks. Some locations do not have powered sites, there is no drinking water available, and mobile reception may be limited or unavailable.

New Features:

  • Enhanced Booking Platform: The refreshed website offers easy navigation, detailed campground information, and online payment. View photos, read descriptions, and plan your stay effortlessly.
  • New Signage: Improved signage will be installed at all locations, including QR codes for easy access.
  • Self-Service: Update your booking details, including dates and vehicle registration, directly through the system.
  • Refund Policy: Cancellations made at least seven days before the arrival date are eligible for a refund.
  • Genuine Camping Experience: All seven campgrounds are available, and pre-booking is encouraged, especially during peak seasons. Respect for fellow campers and the environment remains crucial.
